It works by blocking nerve signals to injected muscles, temporarily inactivating movement and preventing wrinkles from appearing and worsening.

Results from anti-wrinkle injections generally last up to three to four months in initial stages of treatment.  There is certain aftercare following the procedure and majority of patients can resume their normal activities after 24 hours.
