INFORMATION ON MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a pen with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates the body's natural wound-healing response, resulting in the production of collagen and elastin, which can improve the texture and appearance of the skin.
The pinpricks from microneedling cause slight injury to the skin, and the skin responds by making new collagen-rich tissue. This new skin tissue is more even in tone and texture. It’s common for the skin to lose collagen with age or injury. By encouraging the skin to make new tissue, additional collagen may help make the skin firmer.

It may help smooth, firm, and tone skin and improve the appearance of scars, acne, sun damaged skin (melasma) and wrinkles.

It is minimally invasive, requiring little to no downtime but it is recommended to have multiple treatments for the best results.
