WEDDING PACKAGES

lady in wedding address

CONGRATULATIONS!

You’ve set the date for your big day! Whilst it is an exciting time, we all know wedding planning can be stressful and can take its toll on our skin. It can also have a psychological effect too, causing huge amounts of stress and skin problems.

So in the interest of yourself and your skin, plan ahead and book your skin consultation well in advance of your wedding day.  Book in for a free consultation and we can discuss your current skincare regime and what you hope to achieve when you walk down the aisle. That may be brighter skin, less wrinkles, an improvement in acne scarring and hyperpigmentation or just adding volume, giving your face a natural lift; all of which can all be achievable.

Ideally, any treatment should be 6 months before your wedding because it can take time for your skin to get used to any new products and treatments.

All our packages include a consultation, skin analysis and a 15-minute mini facial to allow us to get to know your skin. The next part of the package will depend on your timescale and your budget but don’t worry; we have something to suit everyone! You can combine any combination of treatments that we offer in the clinic if medically suitable and appropriate;

  • Chemical peels

  • Anti-wrinkle treatment

  • Skin boosters

  • Dermal Fillers

  • Lumi Eyes

  • Collagen-induction treatments such as Microneedling and radiofrequency

  • High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) – tightens skin, reduces eye bags and lifts eye lids, targets stubborn areas of fat.

If you don’t have a wedding date in the diary yet, we would still recommend starting to plan your skincare package as soon as you can because this will allow the most improvements to be made and you can always extend the length of the package if required.

These packages are not just aimed at brides however… we have had bridesmaids, mother-of-the-brides and even some grooms come in for treatment and we can provide suitable packages for them too.  Members of your wedding party will also receive a discount on treatments, for the duration of your skincare package.

Examples of treatments and timescales include:

5 -6 months before: Chemical peels and microneedling/Focus Dual/HIFU

To get the best results from a chemical peel, a series of treatments is required – usually 4-6 sessions spaced at least 3 weeks apart. I recommend leaving at least 6 weeks between your last chemical peel and your wedding day.

Similarly, with microneedling, 4-6 sessions at least 4-6 weeks apart will give the best results – reducing the appearance of pores, scarring and stretch marks, and improving skin quality overall.

With Focus Dual Microneedling and Radiofrequency you will be receiving two treatments in one, meaning that you will achieve a stronger treatment and more effective results than when compared to having microneedling and radiofrequency treatments individually. The results give you firmer, tighter, smoother, more lifted skin. Recommended treatment sessions are the same as microneedling.

For best results with HIFU 4-6 treatments are recommended.  If treatment is for the face or neck, each appointment must be carried out within 7-10 days of each other.  Body treatments are 7-14 days apart.  Results should last up to 2 years and a top up is recommended after 9-12 months if required.

3-4 months before: Fillers

While fillers do give an instant result, remember there can often be a lot of preliminary swelling to the area. This will usually settle within the first 2-3 days, however some swelling can linger for around 2 weeks. It can then take up to a month for the filler to fully integrate into your tissues, and for any small lumps to smooth out.

Add into this the time needed to make small adjustments or tweaks, and you don’t want to leave these treatments to the last minute!

6 weeks before: Anti-wrinkle injections

Anti-wrinkle injections won’t start kicking in for about 2-3 days, and the full effects won’t be seen until around the 2-week mark. At this stage, I can review how it’s all looking and make any tiny adjustments if necessary. Anti-wrinkle injections overall last around 12 weeks, so by 6 weeks, the treatment will have had time to fully settle, giving you the best effect on your big day.

The night before

The best advice for the night before is to avoid alcohol and get plenty of sleep, as this leave your skin dehydrated and looking puffy. Have a nice healthy meal, relax, and get an early night – there’ll be plenty of time for alcohol and celebration on your wedding day!
